First Dip of the year!

Let's start with the really cute picture of Madison sporting her brand new spring wet suit!! Two Sundays ago was a really warm day so after we got back from the morning service and we gave up on Madison taking her Sunday nap we decided to hit the pool to kick kick(means swim by Madison)...

Surprisingly she really likes wearing it so that's making us really happy:-) This day confirmed us that purchasing a house with a pool was a good decision after all...:-)

夏休みの楽しい思いで/Extra fun moments from this summer...:-)

秋気分に入る前に夏休み中に撮った未公開の写真とビデオを紹介...
Before we move onto the Fall season I wanted to share with you a few more cute pics and videos from the fun summer we had...

去年のクリスマスにお母さんとお父さんから貰ったミッキーのブーツ、去年はとても大きすぎて履けなかったから今年の冬には大丈夫だと思うんだけど、この前マディソンがいつも履いているクロックのサンダルを一足教会で無くして来て(大丈夫、無事見つかりました)その夕方また教会に行く時にマディソンがこのブーツを靴棚から見つけて来てどうしても履きたがったので真夏の中で履く事に...とーってもかわいいでしょ、冬が来るのが待ち切れない!
Madison got this super cute mickey mouse boots last Christmas from my parents but was way too big for her and probably ready to be worn this winter season... Anyhow we dropped one of her favorite croc shoes in the Church parking lot(we found out later) in the morning and so when we were getting ready to go back for the evening service we needed a different pair, well Madison found them in our shoe shelf and insisted on wearing them even though it was pretty hot outside... Well can't wait for this winter because she looks super cute in them!
そしてこの写真は違う日曜日に教会で撮った写真。バイブルクラスで作った冠を嬉しそうに着ていました。つい最近まで嫌がってなかなか行ってくれなかった２才と３歳児ようのバイブルクラスは今は行きたくて仕様が無いほど：）この冠この後３、４週間敗れずに生き残る事に...
And this was from a different Sunday, this may have been the very first Sunday Bible Class she was able to attend without freaking out at the teachers...:-) She made this crown thing in her class and kept wearing them until this past Sunday(probably 3 or 4 Sundays later) when she finally ripped it apart...

最後に、カリフォルニアアドベンチャーでメリーゴーランドにのっているマディソンとパパが私に手を振っている所...：）最近とっても可愛い笑い声を出す様になったマディソン、聞ければ良いんだけど！
Lastly, I filmed Madison and Daddy riding a carousel in California Adventure and waving at me...:-) She has this really cute laugh now wish you could hear it!

Madison the Big Girl.../マディソン大きくなってきた...

On Tuesday I dropped Madison off at Liam's family's place before going off to my college class per our usual routine...but this Tuesday the Mooney's (Liam's family) had an addition to their home...a bicycle!! Madison took to it right away and while Anna and I were already planning on getting Madison a tricycle type contraption we quickly upped our game to the real deal!!
火曜日の夜いつも通りに大学に行く前にリアムの家にマディソンを預けに行きました...この日ムーニー家には新しい家族の一員が...自転車!!　見るなりお気に入り(リアムのにも関わらず)。アンナと僕は既に三輪車を買う予定でいたんだけど、長持ちする様にちゃんとした自転車を買う事に決めました！

While Madison can not officially "pedal" herself yet, she sure loves being pushed :-)
まだちゃんと自分で自転車をこぐ事が出来ないので今の所は押して貰っています...でも十分満足そう...：）

This being a Galaxy-less Saturday we got to spend the day with Liam's Family again out at his grandparents place where they have a pool with a real diving board :-) For some reason, Madison decided the diving board looked like fun and this was the result...
今週末は僕のギャラクシーゲ−ムが無かったので、リアムのママの両親の家に招待してもらってジャンプ台付きのプールを満喫しました：）なぜか知らないけどジャンプ台に興味を示したマディソン、その結果はこれ...

This continued at least a dozen times...I was afraid she would throw up, but she got to the point where she would jump off, "swim" to the stairs at the other end and then walk around to the diving board and do it all again...
これを１２回以上繰り返す事に...食べて直ぐ後でジャンプなんかしてゲ−したらどうしようと思っていたけど、そんな事も無しに最後の方ではジャンプした後自分で泳いで外に出ての繰り返しをするほど...

The other thing she has recently started doing is "exercising"...she has watched her mother and I do our 30 minute Jillian Michaels routine and has now decided she wants to join...but her jumping jacks are potentially dangerous in a small space :-)
後最近する様になった事は、“運動する”事...僕とママが運動するのを見るからなのか自分でも運動したいと参加すう様に...でもマディソン用にもう少し大きい所が無いと結構危険かも：）

Pool Time Videos/水泳の時間ビデオ

Madison and my favorite pastime is quickly becoming our romps in the pool...Sunday afternoon Madison showed off for Mommy just how much she loves the pool.
マディソンと僕の大好きな遊びの時間はプールに行く事...日曜日の午後、ママにどんなに水泳上達したか発表する事にしました。

We always start swimmielessly and then after a while she will agree to her swimmies which gives me a bit of a break...
いつも最初に腕浮き輪を着けずに泳ぎたがるマディソン、でも少し経つと着けてくれるので僕は休憩が出来てとてもありがたい...

Then I will try to relax on Madison's kickboard which makes an awesome floatation device, but Madison, for some reason, does not like watching Daddy relax.
そして、マディソンのキックボードを使ってのんびりしようとすると、それをなぜか反対するマディオソンです。

Family Thursday/家族の日の木曜日

So today was a real treat...about two months ago Anna signed up to attend a Career Fair for Designers in L.A. The event was from 2pm to 7pm so we figured at the time that I could go to work and pick Anna and Madison up at 3:30 and then head to L.A., but when we started to see the traffic around at that time we got nervous, so I decided to take the day off to make sure Anna was able to make it on-time. So we headed up to L.A. around 10:30am and Madison fell asleep so we drove by the building where the fair would be and then headed onto Graumann's Chinese Theater in the middle of Hollywood to get our first official look at the Hollywood sign (we can see it as a blur from our apartment as well as an L.A. city view as the sun sets each night, which is cool) and eat lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe right off Hollywood Blvd where they were rolling out the red carpet for the premiere of Secretariat...how exciting :-) Then we headed back down the 101 into L.A. where I also got to cross seeing the Staples Center off my list of things to do as we drove right by it on the way to drop Anna off...after dropping her off Madison and I made the quick drive over to the Science Museum (right next to the Coliseum Sports Arena where USC plays football which I think is cool) that we had visited a couple of weeks ago. Madison had a great time playing in the courtyard area and watching the fish...it was lots of fun to be able to spend some daddy daughter time...then we headed back to pick up Anna who had accomplished what she wanted to at the Career Fair despite the very large crowd and enjoyed an L.A. trip at rush hour which was a lot better than we had expected as we made it home in under an hour. Back to work tomorrow.
約一ヶ月前にアンナが仕事探しの一歩としてファション業界のキャリアフェアに申し込んでいたんです。その時は、僕の学校が終わった後に急いで行けば十分時間があるはずだと思っていたんだけど、高速の混み具合が気になったので仕事を休んでちゃんと時間通りにアンナを送ってく事にしました。あさの１０時半頃に家を出発してマディソンが車の中でお昼寝をしている間を使ってあっという間にダウンタウンに到着！せっかくなのでハリウッドにある有名な人達の手形がある通りに行ってお昼を食べる事に...お昼の後はアンナのキャリアフェア開始の２時が迫っていたのでアンナを送って行って、僕とマディソンはそこから直ぐそこにある科学館にまた戻ってみる事に...久しぶりに娘と２人きりで時間を過ごす事が出来てよかったし、マディソンも魚を見たり庭で遊んだりと十分楽しむ事が出来たみたい。アンナを迎えに行った後思っていたより簡単に家に到着と今日はいろんな事が上手に行った日でした...

Since She took a late nap on the way back home she decided to stay up later... So this is a happy-sleepy 10pm Madison:-)
帰りに車の中で二回目のお昼寝をとってしまったマディソンはいつものおやすみの時間になっても全然眠たくなさそう...こんなに嬉しそうな夜１０時のマディソンです。
