マディソンのする事.../Things Madison does...

今日は最近マディソンがする事でニコッてしてしまう事を紹介...
There are things Madison does that makes us smile so we want to share some of them today...

1．今日教会に行った時、新しいオムツ２枚とオムツ替えのシーツを口に入れたりして遊んでたんだけどオムツ１枚を横にちょっと置いたんです。もう要らないのかな〜と思って(グチャグチャにして欲しく無かったし)オムツを動かして見えなくしたら急に振り向いて“あれっ!?何処行っちゃったの?後で遊ぶように取っといたのに〜！”って顔...ちゃんと覚えてたんだ〜！
1. Today when we were at Church she was playing with her extra diapers and disposable changing pad, she put one of the diapers on the side and kept playing with the other one... I thought she was done(I mean I didn't want her to destroy one but two diapers) so I moved it beside me where she couldn't see... She looked to the side where she had left her diaper and made a look like "Where did it go? I was saving it for later!"...

2．何でか分からないけどビーンズ達の餌が入っているお皿が大好きなマディソン。マディソン用のおもちゃはた〜くさんあるのにわざわざそっちの方向(おもちゃの反対側)へ行こうとする変な赤ちゃん。マディソンの顔に“どっち行こうかな〜?ビーンズ達の餌！”って考えてるのがバレバレ...そしてそこに向かっている時に何処からか(対外ベッドの下)慌てて来るエリーがいつも急いで餌食べてます！
2. We do not know why but Madison LOVES the Bean's kibble dishes! So even though she has tons of toys that are for her and laying on the floor she make a conscious decision to go for the kibbles! You can see her thinking, "which way should I go? Yeah doggy kibbles!" then Ellie will come out of her hiding(underneath our bed) to the dishes and try to eat them as fast as she can so that Madison can't have any!

3．何かに掴まって立っている時に座りたくなったら慎重にゆ〜くっり腰を下ろして床にお尻をつけるの...と〜っても真剣な顔！
3. When she is standing up and wants to sit down she slowly lowers her butt and successfully lands her bum on the floor... Very serious thinking involved!

4．もうハイハイ出来るから部屋から部屋と検索しまくり：）
4. She can crawl well now so she goes from room to room exploring:-)

5．テーブルの椅子に２段棒が入っているんだけど、下の棒はビーンズ達の噛み後でいっぱい。上の棒はマディコングの噛み後でいっぱい！
5. Our dining chairs have two rows of bars across and the bottom bars had been chewed on by the Beans when they were teething and top bars have now been chewed on by teething Madikong!

6．エリーとココに靴下を引っ張らせてあげるマディソン...しかもその時笑顔...

今日はナツエさんとコナちゃんとパネラでお昼の待ち合わせ...平日のお昼なのにとっても混んでいてビックリ！今度はもう少し変な時間に来た方が良いみたい...でもコナちゃんとマディソンは良い子にしていてくれたので良いお昼になりました！

Today we got together with Natsue-san and her daughter Kona-chan at Panera for lunch... We didn't expect the kind of crowd that we had at 12:30pm but wow that place gets packed for lunch! We will have to pick odd time for our next get together but both our girls behaved and we all had a great time!

パパお誕生日おめでとう!!!!!/Happy Birthday Daddy!!!!!

今日はデイブパパの誕生日で〜す！３１歳に成っちゃいましたー。お祝いはディズニーでしたいからいろいろしなくていいって言われてるんだけど、ママは食べ損ねたポテトピザを自分で作ってみる事に。。。そしてお洒落に飾ったデザートだけの静かな誕生日。なので、パパの写真をいっぱい載せて行きま〜す！
Today is Daddy's 31st Birthday! Yay! As per the birthday boy's request we are waiting to celebrate his birthday until we get to Disney World so I'm not supposed to plan anything big(so I didn't!)... Well, I thought since he didn't get to eat the Yukon Gold Potato Pizza at Fivepoints I would give it a try! Then I will plate up a nice dessert dish that he will like to end the meal! That's it! so rest of the post I shall fill with all of Dave's 30th year in review pictures.

去年の誕生日はママの作った“デイブのニューヨーク冒険の本”を使ってあちこち歩き回りました。ここは、“海の幸”を選んだデイブの行き先！“山の幸”を選んでたら何処行ってたんだっけ〜！？寒かったけど楽しかった！
So last year I went all out for his BIG 30th with a "Choose Your Own Adventure Book!"that made us go all over the city from one adventure to another! This was one or our stops after Dave chose to go with "Ocean Goodness!" I can't remember where the book would have taken us if Dave had chosen "Mountain Goodness" though... Anyways, we had such a great time!

外が暖かくなって来たらビーンズを連れて公園へ。
Once outside warmed up we hung out at the park on the weekends.

Failed B-D Lunch.../誕生日ランチ失敗...

Anna is being a little too hard on herself with this title as the lunch was still very yummy, it just wasn't exactly the way she planned. One of our favorite shows right now is "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" and the pizza episode mentioned a Yukon Gold Potato pizza at a place in the East Village called 5 Points Restaurant. So Anna made reservations for this afternoon to celebrate my birthday since I had the day off thanks to Dr. King, but due to the holiday they instead served a special brunch menu all day and the pizza was not one of the items...Anna was very disappointed...it was sweet. The Mac and Cheese(the best I've ever had) and Burger with fries(Pretty up there also) we shared turned out very yummy.
アンナは自分に厳しいけど計画通りには行かなかったランチはとても美味しかったよ。最近ハマっているテレビの番組が“今までで一番美味しかった物”って言う番組でピザ特集の日に出た５ポインツって言うレストランへ有名なポテトピザを食べに行けるように、僕の誕生日をお祝いする為にちゃんと休日の今日を選んで予約をしてくれたアンナだったんだけど、国民休日のせいで特別ブランチメニューが出る事のに...とーっても気を落としてしまったアンナだけどその代わりに注文したマカロニチーズとグラスフェッドバーガーは今までで一番おいしい！っていう結果：）またピザを食べに戻って行く計画です。

On our walk from the restaurant to Anna's hair salon there was a lady with a teenage boy crossing the street in our direction. As they got closer I noticed that the lady looked a lot like Susan Sarandon even though she was all bundled up and then she asked the teenager something right by Anna and I and there was no mistaking that voice...we had just crossed paths with Susan Sarandon...by the time I told Anna who was concentrating on Madison, or something like that...Ms. Sarandon was gone. It was still kind of cool.
レストラントからアンナの美容室へ向かっている途中に横断歩道で向こうから歩いて来る男の子とおばさんがいたんだけど、だんだん近づいて声を聞いた途端間 違いない！スーザンサランドンだ〜！マディソンを見ていたのか全然気づいてなかったアンナに言ったけど既に遅く、その２人はもう遥か遠くに...でもす ご〜い！

The rest of the day...three hours...was spent watching Mommy get her hair done... Since Mommy hadn't gotten her hair done in a year and a half and wanted to look nice for our up coming trip to the Disney World and today was her stylist's last day before she has to go back to Japan to work in her other hair salon for a month... She got to try Digital Perm to get a really nice natural soft curl in her hair which is really popular in Japan right now:-) well to be honest an hour of it was spent sleeping in a surprisingly comfy couch and some was spent walking to McDonalds for a hot chocolate...but the rest of the time was spent watching Mommy getting her fancy hairdo.
そして、午後の３時間はママがパーマをかけて貰っているのを見る事に...本当は、最初の１時間はバガブーとソファでマディソンとパパはお昼寝、そしてマディソンが起きた後はちょっと近所のマックまでホットチョコレートを買いに行ったり。それ以外はママの髪がクルクルなるのを見てました...何で今日ぱーマかけなきゃいけなかって言うとママの美容師さんはニューヨークと日本の青山に一件ずつお店があるんだけど、１ヶ月置きにもう一人パートナーの人と交代で行ったり来たりなんです。だから明日から日本に行ってしまって２月の終わりまで帰って来ないのが理由でママ達がディズニーワールドに行く前に髪綺麗にしようって...日本で今流行っているデジタルパーマで緩い自然なフワフワパーマをかけてもらいました：）これで何もしなくてもラクラクに可愛い髪型に！
