November Update

We started off our November adventure with of course my birthday... Dave took us on a little adventure to a city called Brea for some yummy Japanese food for lunch and some ice cream at Ferrell's which we've always wanted to try... It was a constant parade of noise and they don't care if your baby is sleeping in an obvious stroller! and since it was my actual birthday they came over to sing me a song... Lovely. Violet somehow managed to keep sleeping so those Ferrell employees didn't get in too much trouble:-)...The ice creams were good but nothing special I guess, although I really liked my ice cream nachos:-) I'm glad I can now check this place off my list of places I want to try...

And later I got my favorite cake from two of my favoritest people in the whole world!

Our Thanksgiving dinner was just like last year held at our house so we can play it by ear based on Violet's sleeping schedule... Last year we left the little bag inside(although the bird was delicious) so we were so careful not to repeat that mistake and also because it was 8(too early) in the morning that I was trying to get the bird ready that we cooked it upside down!!! We did not realize this until I asked Dave to carve some meat and his reply was that there is nothing to carve... Nothing!? and I looked at the flat chested nicely browned bird and realized my mistake! We quickly flipped it over and put it back in the oven to try to crisp up the skin... About 15 minutes later our dinner was ready and Violet was down for her nap so I would call that a success... -ful recovery! Only regret, we totally forgot to take the picture for some laughs in the distant future...:-)

We moved girls' reading chairs into the living room so they can really enjoy watching the Thanksgiving Parade...

On Black Friday we decided to go see Frozen in Down Town Disney AMC theater since we did most of our shopping online the day before... Well wasn't that a great decision because the movie was absolutely AMAZING!! Surprisingly Violet got into it also and did not require one of us to leave the theater... She especially had big smiles on when Olaf was on the screen so as soon as we left the theater I placed an order for one Olaf from Santa... and a few more things to try to get free shipping:-)
If you haven't done so already GO SEE FROZEN today! Well done Disney, well done:-)

As for our kids, Violet started to smile more and more and it became kind of easy to photograph those moments...
Violet starting to sit up... So far she has fallen off the chair once under Dave's watch... The very first time we heard her "I'm in pain" cry!

Dave tried this balloon experiment with Madison... Skewer that is coated with dish soap goes through a balloon and it won't pop!

SUCCESS!

Madison found someone making a hamburger using play-doh and wanted to replicate it... Came out pretty good I think...:-)

HAPPY NOVEMBER!
