Famous Dave's BBQ/有名デイブのバーベキュー

Today we said a premature farewell to our meatless month with a trip to Long Island for Famous Dave's BBQ...it was yummy. We each had the double meat lunch platter...Anna went with spareribs and pulled pork while I went with spareribs and brisket...as previously stated it was yummy :-) Oh yeah, Madison had yogurt and puffs...with a dessert of breast milk in the car.
今日肉抜き献立１月の終わりを祝うのも兼ねて、ロングアイランドにある“有名デイブのバーベキュー”というレストラントにお昼を食べに行って来ました。アンナはスペアリブとプルドポークを注文、僕はスペアリブとブリスケットを注文...さすが有名デイブ、おいしかった〜！そしてマディソンはヨーグルトとパフをレストランで食べて、帰る前に車の中でママのミルクを貰いました：）



One of my favorite parts of Famous Dave's was the on table spool of paper towels...nothing annoys me more then running out of napkins at a BBQ joint...well not possible at Famous Dave's!
このレストラントで気に入った事と言えば、テーブルの上に置いてあったペーパータオル。バーベキュー屋さんで大量にナプキン置いてないの嫌いなんだけどここではその心配無し！
Friday night we put Madison in her jumperoo and she seemed like she was in a good mood...I was on the computer and I suddenly noticed there was a lack of movement coming from the jumperoo...I examined closer and found the following result...
金曜日の夜、マディソンをジャンパールーに入れてコンピューターを使っていたんだけど、ふと動きがないなと見上げるとマディソンをこの状態で発見...

Another First (for the third time :-)/もう一つ“初めて”の話

It always takes a couple times to catch something on tape...yesterday Madison was playing with Aunt (not sister, inside joke) Asuka's rubber duckies and when she knocked them out of her bath she pulled herself up on the side of the bath and peered over the edge...that was the first time she had done that...then today Mommy was sleeping on the ground and Madison used her sweatshirt to propel herself from the sitting to standing position, time two...then we got the camera and asked her to do it again and wouldn't you know she is such a good listener she gladly took the bait...I am happy to report the bath moment was not followed by such a nasty tumble...but it does make for good video and no Madison's were hurt during the filming so don't worry grandmas.
いつもマディソンがする初めての事ってビデオに撮るまで少し時間がかかるんだけど、昨日マディソンがお風呂でバアバとジイジが送ってくれたあひるのおもちゃで遊んでいた時、淵に並べて置いてあったのが落ちちゃったらどこに行ったのか見たかったのかな？タッチしちゃいました!!マディソンの初めてのタッチです！そして今日ママが床に座って遊んでいるマディソンを見ながらゴロンてしていたら、ママのトレーナーを引っ張りながら自分一人でまたタッチ成功：）慌ててカメラを持って来てもう一回してくれるかな〜と祈りながら録画開始...するともう一回出来ました：）最後に倒れちゃうけど見ての通りけがは無いから大丈夫。

And while we are on the subject of things to worry about, for some reason whenever we mention we sleep with Madison between us each night it is often met with a gasp of horror that we will unknowingly rollover and crush our poor baby...well look at where Madison ended up two nights ago...eat your heart out grandmas!!!
そして、いつもマディソンはパパとママの間で寝るんだよーって人に言うと人に言うと上に転がったらどうするの？とか心配する人が多いんだけど昨日の朝起きた時に隣を見たらマディソンとパパこんな風に寝てちゃいました...　カワイ〜イ！
