55 Degrees?!...BEACH DAY!!!/気温１２度!?海へ行こう!!!

Friday, Anna and Madison picked me up from work and we headed for the Lincoln Tunnel to go to Mitsuwa, the large Japanese grocery, book and gift shop across the river in New Jersey. Anna just loves the authenticity of this place and all three of us enjoyed our meals in the nice eatery area.
金曜日に学校までアンナとマディソンが迎えに来てくれた後、そのままリンカントンネルを通ってニュージャージーまで、ミツワと言うお土産屋さんや本屋さんもある巨大な日本食料品屋さんまで買い物に行って来ました。本当に日本にあるようなスーパーで売ってる何もかも日本で買える食品...クライン家のお気に入りのお店の一つです。

Today we welcomed spring in the city!! It was sunny and near 55 so where else would we go, but to Jones Beach!! It helped that the beach is right around the corner from our accountant's place, where we had an appointment today, but what a difference a week makes as last Saturday we were just finishing getting some 20 inches of snow and this Saturday we were walking on the beach.
そして今日は春のようないい天気!!晴れで１２度近くになる予定だったからもちろんジョーンズ海まで行く事に!!ジョーンズ海は３時に予約をして会う事になっていた会計士の家のすぐ近くと何とも都合の良い事だ。それにしても、５０センチ以上の大雪が降っていた先週の土曜日と海辺を歩いていた今日とは大違い。

After Anna and I enjoyed our McNuggets on a park bench we headed onto the sand...our first stop was a duck oasis we can only figure was caused by the snow last week...
海辺のベンチでマックで買って来たお昼を食べた後波打ち際まで行く事に...降った雪が溶けて出来た大きい水たまり(たぶん)に居たアヒル達と写真を撮りながら...
Then we headed to the shore where the waves were breaking right on the beach...we were careful to get as close as we could without letting the water touch us...
波に当たらないようにぎりぎりまで近づいて、マディソンは波が打つのを楽しそうに観察...

Anna is really good at taking close-up pictures when we are at scenic places so that you can't see any of the scenery :-)
景色が綺麗な所にいるのにそれをまったく入れずに写真を撮るのが得意なアンナ：）

After we walked a little further it was time for Madison's lunch so Anna treated Madison to lunch with a view...she seemed to enjoy it...the feet don't lie :-)
ちょっと波打ち際を歩いた後マディソンのお昼休憩を取りました...いい景色を見ながらお昼が食べれてマディソン嬉しそうでしょ？：）
