Rest of G-ma Linda's visit...

For the last three nights of Linda's visit she had a room at Hilton(about a mile and a half away) for more comfortable sleep and safety instead of booking a room at an almost right next door Beach Plaza Inn... It was kind of sad for us all to not be in a same building anymore so I believe after her first night at Hilton is when she went ahead and booked her 17th floor gorgeous room in our building for their upcoming visit at the end of this year...:-)

Anyhow, I wasn't there but Linda took a picture of Dave and Madison comfortably snoozing in her hotel room and followed their lead soon after...

On her last day with us which was Friday I was able to take a day off so after A LOT of brain storming sessions we decided on breakfast at Creme Cafe and Wild Rivers Water Park for the day... and I would say Linda happily added Creme to her "Definitely need to take Steve to" list for their visit in December:-)

We arrived at Wild Rivers Water Park about 30 minutes from the cafe, 10 minutes before the opening time, got almost a front row spot for parking, and went ahead and got in to compete against the other thirty people, or so to start the day... We were really surprised about how toddler-friendly this place was...it had multiple spots with water features galore, and swimming pools to just chill in and Madison was allowed to use her swimmies in the lazy river and just float along tubelessly which she loved. Also they have sooo many tube rides and crazy slides for older kids plus a wave pool and another one that has much bigger waves that you can ride bogey boards on so it's a great place for everyone:-) BUT this place is unfortunately closing at the end of the season... RIP:-(

For the final evening of Gma's visit we hit an Italian Restaurant in Belmont Shore that we had heard good things about and were definitely not disappointed...great food and great service made for a lovely experience. Of course this place got added to "The List"! Following it up with a walk to Yogurtland for dessert was the perfect capper!!
