パサディナでのCFウォーク.../CF Walk in Pasadena, CA...

土曜日の朝早くパサディナで行われるCFウォ−クに参加する為にみんなで出発しました...CFウォークは毎年計画される活動でCFと言う病気を持っているデイブの従兄弟の為に参加するんだけど、家族とは慣れた所にいる私達が別の場所で参加するのは初めてです...でも私達が別の場所で歩く事によってデイブの家族のタイガーチームは今年初めて国立チームの一つに成れたんです!すごいでしょ：）そして今年は初めてジムとアリソン達とローズボールで有名なパサディナで歩く事が出来て良かった〜！
On Saturday we headed to Pasadena bright and early to participate in the walk to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis research... We used to usually join the walk that Dave's uncle and aunt organize in Worcester, MA but since we've moved far away from them we were very excited to find out that by walking in another location their Tiger team can become a national team and that we can walk as part of the Tiger Team:-) And this year Jim, Alyson and their kids could walk with us! in Pasadena, CA where the Rose Bowl happens!

ローズボールに到着すると待っていたのは特別に用意されていたタイガーチームの看板...今回はお揃いで着れるタイガーチームのティーシャツが無かったからこのサインのお陰で他のチームから見分けがついて良かった...：）
When we got to the Rose Bowl we found out that we have a sign that we can carry around... Since we didn't have matching t-shirts or anything it was really nice to have a sign that says which team we belonged to... The Tiger Team:-)
マディソンの誕生日会で来てくれたマディソンの友達にあげた動物のビーチボールにトラがあったからそれも一様持ってきました、カワイイでしょ...；）
We brought a Tiger beach ball we got as Madison's birthday party favor to the walk as well so we could have something tiger-ish...


デイブとジムのいとこのジェシカがマディソン達３人にトラ柄の髪留めを作ってくれました...リリーとグレースはちゃんと着けてかわいいのにマディソンは嫌がってまったっくだめでした：(
Dave and Jim's cousin Jessica was sooo sweet and made tiger hair clips for the girls! Lily and Grace put them on for the walk and they looked so cute but Madison somehow was scared of it:-(

５キロのウォークが終わる前にローズボールの前で写真撮影...

We got to sneak in a short photo session during our 5k walk...

そして、もう少しで終わりの所で公園の直ぐ横に停めてあったアイスクリームトラックの音楽に合わせて一ダンスしなきゃいけなかったマディソン...やっぱりビデオとれば良かったな〜...
As soon as Madison started to hear music from the Ice Cream truck parked by the field, she had to stop and dance! Too bad I didn't get my flip out to film, instead I took a picture...

CFウォークの後計画ではハリウッドに寄って家に帰る予定だったんだけど、デイブとジムが家に帰って運動出来る様に家に帰る事にしました。そしてママ達と子供達はマンションの部屋でのんびり遊んでリラックスする事が出来ました...：）アリソンおばさんがマディソンと布団を使って小さな基地を作ってくれたのでリリーとマディソンはその中で大はしゃぎ、しかも一緒にお昼寝しようとするなんて仲良いなー...：）
We changed our plan to go to Hollywood and headed home via Five Guys Burgers and Fries after the walk so that we can relax and the daddies get to exercise together... Alyson and I stayed with the kids as usual and tried to relax...:-) Alyson made a fort over Madison's crib and Lily and Madison played together for a while and even tried to take a nap together...:-)


そしてその後お寿司が食べたいと言ったジムとアリソンの為に最後の夕ご飯を食べに出掛けてました。その途中で止まった公園で遊び休憩を取って...
That night we headed out for our final dinner out together...Jim and Alyson felt like sushi so Anna was happy to oblige...on the way we stopped by a playground so the girls could run around a bit...

この３人は本当に仲良く遊べて良かった...みんな帰っちゃったらマディソン寂しがるだろうなー...１０日間だったけど何だかとっても沢山いとこのリリーから学んだようなきが、来てくれてありがとうねー：）＿
It was so fun to see the girls interact with each other...I know Madison is going to miss her cousins...it seemed like she learned so much just in the ten days that her big cousin was here.

Disneyland Day 2/ディズニーランド２日目

We arrived bright and early to open Disneyland at 9am...we wouldn't leave till right before midnight...fastest 15 hours ever!!
今日はディズニーランド２日目の日、朝９時にオープンと同時に到着そして夜の１２時のクローズ直前までのあっという間の１５時間をここで過ごす事になりました!!

Our first stop was Fantasyland where we rode Peter Pan, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and of course...DUMBO!!!
まず最初のストップはファンタジーランドの乗り物、ピーターパン、ミスタートーズワイルドライド、ともちろんダンボ!!!

During the girls afternoon naps we made the switch to California Adventure...when the girls woke we used birthday money from G-pa & G-ma Klein to buy Madison a bubble machine... Well it was a BIG hit! She just could not get enough! We thought it may be hard for her to use on her own since you have to hold it like a gun and pull a trigger like switch but she figured it out and used one hand to hold the machine and the other to pull the trigger, so smart! And just had sooo much fun with it and Lily got to join in the fun also:-) Only con is that she wasn't going to let Lily use it...:-( Oh well!
お昼寝の時間を使ってカリフォルニアアドベンチャーへ移動して、みんな起きた後クラインおじいちゃんとおばあちゃんからの誕生日金を使ってシャボン玉のおもちゃを買ってあげました。それを本当に気に入ってしまったマディソン、しかも拳銃みたいな形で片手では上手く使えないのが分かったのかちゃんと両手で上手に引き金を引いたりして直ぐに使いこなしちゃいました...リリーもマディソンのシャボン玉攻撃結構気に入ったみたい、一回ぐらいリリーに貸してあげたら良かったんだけどね...：）

Later we headed for the one ride that the Southern California Kleins hadn't ridden either yet...Toy Story Midway Mania...it always had near an hour wait so we just never felt like waiting, but today it was closer to thirty minutes so we went for it...
その後トイストーリーマニアと言う私達もまだ乗った事が無い乗り物に挑戦する事にしました...なぜかと言うとこれはファーストパスが無いいっつも１時間近くの待ち時間がある乗り物で、いつもパスしていたからなんです...でもこの日は何と待ち時間３０分だけ!だから待ってみる事に...

It turned out to be a 3D shooting game where you sit in a car that speeds you around to different carnival type games...Madison kept her glasses on the whole time and helped me shoot...it was very fun!!
これがどういう乗り物かやっと知る事が出来て私達は満足...これは３Dの打撃ゲームでお祭りみたいな建物の中で乗り物に乗りながら大きなスクリーンの前で的を打つと言うものでした...とっても面白かったからまた早速戻って来なきゃ!!しかもマディソンもちゃんと３D眼鏡をずっと着けててちょっと関心：）

Then the girls got trapped in a Toy Story 3 Action figure box...okay maybe the parents are holding them...
そして、トイストーリーの入れ物に閉じ込められた３人...でも何となく後ろで押さえている大人達が見える気が...

Lastly on our transition back to Disneyland to close out the night we saw Goofy who is fast becoming one of Madison's favorites so we gave it a shot and after Lily successfully met Goofy all by herself, Madison was more open to it!!
そして、ディズニーランドにもう一度戻るとそこに居たのはマディソンが日に日に大好きになって来たグーフィー、リリーがグーフィーと一緒に写真を撮るお手本を見せてくれた後マディソンも一緒に写真を撮ってもらう事に...上手上手マディソン!!

We always knew Disneyland was fun, but it was even more fun to be able to share it with the Idaho Kleins!!
ディズニーランドはいつもとっても楽しい所だとは知っていたんだけど、やっぱりアイダホクライン家と一緒に行けるともっともっと楽しい!!

サンタモニカビーチ：)/Santa Monica Beach:-)

水曜日は、サンタモニカの海辺に向けて出発：）私達の中で一番興奮していたのはデイブとジムかな、２人で昔見たいに波乗り出来たから...：）でも、家に帰った後全然２人の波乗りの写真を撮らなかったの気づいてガッカリ...ごめんね〜!
Wednesday we headed to Santa Monica for much needed beach time:-) I would say Dave and Jim were the most excited of all as they got to ride those waves together like good old days...;-) Apparently I forgot to take pictures of boys riding waves together... Sorry boys!

We tried to get Madison to sit on the boogie board, but she just pouted and walked back wards which was really cute...

水族館へ行くの巻き!/Aquarium Tuesday!

ディズニーランドへ行った次の日は、あんまり遠くにいかないでのんびりする事にしました...と言う事は直ぐ近くに歩いて行ける水族館!!でも学校からのグループがたくさんいてとても混んでいて嫌だったんだけど、出来るだけ楽しむ事が出来ました...
The day after our long Disneyland visit we took it easy and stayed local... The Aquarium of the Pacific!! It was really crowded with school groups but we tried to have as much fun as possible...

Every time a shark would swim by Madison arched her back and laughed "ha ha!"...
Not sure why... but sure was cute:-)

水族館に新しく現れたスカルプチャー...なかなか良いじゃん！

家に帰る途中に鳥のフンの被害者になってしまったジム!!うわっ!
On the way home Jim got pooped on by a seagull!! Yikes!

そして午後海辺で遊んでいる時にマンションの真ん前で見たのはアシカ!!鳥の真下に泳いでいて、何故なのかこの２匹は一緒に行動しているみたいだった...ロングビーチのマッジとミリーを見つけたかも：）
You won't believe what we saw in from of our apartment! A sea lion!! He is right under the bird and they just kept going together... I think we found our Mudgy and Millie:-)

リリーとアリソン行ったり来たりして楽しんでいたんだけど...

滑って転んで波に追いつかれて...思った以上に冷たい海水のせいで遊び時間お終い：(まあ仕様が無いか、中に入る時間になってきたし...
Lily tripped and fell into the water... She realized how cold the water was and the play time over:-( Oh well it was time to go inside anyways...

明日はサンタモニカに行くよ〜!

Disneyland Day 1/ディズニーランド１日目

Monday was Disneyland Day #1...the girls were ready to go in their matching outfits...
月曜日はディズニーランドの日第一弾...３人お揃いの服を着て準備オッケー...

Madison sitting with her Mickey in Mickey's chair...she grabbed this Mickey in a gift shop after a trip through It's a Small World and we just couldn't say no...so thanks Grandma and Grandpa Klein's birthday money...
ミッキーの椅子にミッキーと一緒に座っているマディソン。イッツアスモールワールドの後ギフトショップを通って出て来たらマディソンがちゃっかりミッキーのぬいぐるみを掴んじゃったのでダメと言えなくてクラインおじいちゃんとおばあちゃんからの誕生日金で買ってあげる事にしました...

It was only 1pm, but we had already had a full day and Madison passed out at lunch...
たったの午後１時だったんだけどマディソンはご飯を待っている間に寝ちゃいました...

And transferred to her stroller to sleep with Mickey...
なのでベビーカーに移してミッキーとお昼寝中...

Cousin Lily really wanted to go on the carousel and Madison caught on quick with how to ride...
リリーはメリーゴーランド大好きらしく乗りたがっていたので、マディソンと一緒に...この後マディソンも相当気に入ってしまいました...
ママはクルクル回るの駄目だからがんばってねパパ：）
