Madison is growing up waaaay too quick and we are now 1 month away from her 2nd birthday! I remember 2 years ago at this time Dave's mom, Linda, was throwing us a lovely baby shower, my back was sooo in pain everyday, my doctor kept telling me I will go into labor any day and getting Braxton Hicks at work all the time... Wow, I can't believe it's been 2 years already!
２カ国語話せる様に頑張っている我が娘は毎日どんどん話しています...マディソンの最近のお気に入りの言葉は“オーメン!”、“ヤッキー!”、“待って!”...そして、あんまり役に立たないんだけどよく話す言葉は、“エルモ!”、“アビー!”、“クッキー!”、“ビッグバード!”、“オスカー!”、“バート!”、と“ミッキー!!”です...ミッキー以外の名前は全部セサミストリートのキャラの名前です...
Our "hope to be a bilingual" girl is definitely talking so much more everyday... Her new favorites are "Oh Man!", "Yucky!" and "Matte!(Wait!)"...not the best choice of words... but her better options are "Elmo!", "Abby!", "Cookie!", "Big Bird!", "Oscar!", "Bert!" and "Mickey!!" No need to explain what those words are...
そして、パパから受け継いだ、どこでも教会でも歌いたい時に何でも大声で歌う性格は凄い可愛いんだけど恥ずかしいときも...セサミストリートのテーマ曲も２３ヶ月にしては上手に歌える様になってきました...教会で大声でエルモーとか言い出すときも、今はダメって言うんだけどとっても可愛すぎてなかなか難しいんだよね：）
And she has inherited her Daddy's no reason to sing it, but sing it anyway and sing it in public thing so she sings during Church service (usually when we are singing so that's good but sometimes during a prayer or scripture reading...) You can imagine how hard it is to make her stop singing because it's just sooooo adorable! She loves the theme song of Sesame Street so she would sing that at home and surprisingly she can sing pretty good for a 23 month old!
And last Sunday during a prayer she started to say "Daddy", "Mommy", "Elmo", "Abby", etc... like she was naming people she was thankful for, or something and I had to make her stop because she was a bit too loud. SUPER cute though:-)
昨日の夜、マディソンの超年上の彼氏のブライアンと一緒にディズニーランドに行ってきました。
Last night we went to Disneyland with our friend and Madison's not so age appropriate boyfriend, Brian so Dave and I can ride some rides together while Brian watched Madison...
ブライアンがマディソンを見ていてくれたお陰でデイブとインディアナジョーンズに乗って来る事が出来ました...ジムとアリソンがもうすぐこれに初めて乗れるのが楽しみ、凄い気に入るだろうな...そして、出口に向かって歩いている時に写真を一緒に撮っているミッキーを発見、マディソンが行きたそうにしていたのでもしかしてと思って試してみる事に...やった〜！泣きもせずミッキーにハグまでしたマディソン、成長したな−!せっかくなのでブライアンに家族写真をお願いしました！
We had a lot of fun and Dave an I got to ride the Indiana Jones ride which we are sooo excited for Jim and Alyson to ride when they are here in a few weeks. As we were exiting the park we spotted Mickey posing for pictures and since Madison was sooo excited to see him and didn't look too afraid we decided to give it a try... SUCCESS! She did not cry and she even hugged Mickey and everything! Brian was able to take a nice family picture for us and oh I LOVE my Iphone4 with its' cool camera app!
上の写真はフラッシュ無しでちょっと暗いんだけど、私のアイフォンはフラッシュ要らないと思ったのかな？でもカメラアップを使って明るくする事ができました：）I know those pictures are a bit dark... I had my flash on Auto and I guess it decided flash was not needed! But then this great camera app's back light feature on my phone brought it back a bit:-)
そして昨日の朝海辺でお友達と遊んだときの写真です...マディソンは水が大好き!!ジャッカリンとリアムが家に帰った後プールに入って遊ぶ事が出来ました。マディソンはプールの入り口にある階段みたいな所から私に目掛けてジャンプするのが大好きなのでそれを３０分ぐらいしてお昼の時間...腕に浮き輪をしてるから、受け逃しても大丈夫だからね...：）And here are some pictures from yesterday's playdate on a beach...Madison is becoming quite the waterbug!! After Jacqueline and Liam left Madison and I got to visit our pool and it was perfect! All she wanted to do was jump into the pool from those under water steps at the corner of pool:-) Don't worry she wears one of those arm floaty things in case I can't catch her right away...
So hard to believe that 1 month from today Madison will be 2. How fun to hear that her speech is developing by leaps and bounds, both her Japanese and English. She's definitely her Father's daughter ,if she loves to sing all the time. The picture of her hugging Mickey is just too cute.
