Easter Egg Hunt Party/イースターエッグハントパーティー

A mom from Church and I planned an Easter Egg Hunt Party today which was very successful...:-) We had a great turn out with a total of 7 families(12 kids!) at one of the elder's house. Good thing was that it was such a perfect day for an egg hunt, bad thing was that it was really hot to be outside too long and I forgot to bring sun screen with us! You can probably tell in some of the pictures that Madison's cheeks were really red, I was really worried that she was gonna pass out from heat exhaustion... luckily she didn't...:-) Please enjoy our fun day in pictures!
教会で知り合ったママとアンナで今日のイースターエッグハントパーティーを計画しました..そして、結果は７家族(子供１２人)参加の大成功でした。今日はとっても良い天気の日だったんだけど、外に長い時間居るにはちょっと暑すぎたかな〜マディソンのほっぺがとっても赤くなって来て熱射病になるんじゃないかと心配したぐらい...でも大丈夫だったよ...：）それでは写真でお楽しみに!

Before most families arrived Madison was relaxing and saving her energy in one of the rocking chairs...
ほとんどの家族か来る前にのんびりしているマディソン...

Every time we come to their house she always plays with this shopping cart and gets quite obsessed with it... I wish we had space in our apartment to get this for her!
この家に来る度にこのカートで遊ぶのが大好きなマディソン...アパートがもう少し大きかったら買ってあげられるんだけどこのおもちゃはちょっと大きすぎかな!?

While the bunnies got busy hiding eggs for the kiddies, the Daddies walked them around the block... Which was kind of a long walk in such a hot day, but I felt like I was watching some sort of Daddy Day Care...:-)
うさぎ君達が卵を隠している間パパ達は子供達を連れて近所を一周、なんかダディデイケア見てるみたい...：）

Madison spotted me and started running towards me... Such a cutie!

Madison took a little while to warm-up to idea of egg hunting...
卵を探して拾うっていうコンセプトがまだのマディソンだったけど...

But she started to get it...unfortunately she just wanted to eat the insides...lesson learned...
next time tape the eggs!!
だんだん分かって来たみたい...でも拾った卵をその場で空けて中にあるお菓子を食べる方に興味が会ったみたい...来年はちゃんとシールを貼らないと!!

Lastly, Madison noticed a giant egg underneath this tree...
最後に、庭にある木のしたにある大きな卵を発見...

She called a friend to help her out...for some reason she didn't want to grab the lemon herself...
でも友達に拾ってもらう事にしたらしい...何で自分で拾わなかったんだろう...

But she was happy to have it... And this is what she does when she wants to make sure something is hers...;-)
実は木から落ちたレモンだったんだけど大切そうに持ってるマディソン...最近誰にも渡したくない物はこうやって抱きかかえる様に持ち始めたんだよね...：）
