友達作ってます.../Making Friends...

昨日はプレイグループの日...しかも今回は週末だったのでパパも参加出来ることに...！いつも通り３０分ぐらい遅刻してクライン家の３人は登場、そして来る途中に寝てしまったマディソンは起きる気配無し。仕様が無いから寝かせといてあげようとそっと床に置いたんだけどやっぱり周りの音で起きちゃいました。それを機会にまだ眠そうなマディソンを他の赤ちゃんと無理矢理座らせて遊びに参加：）今日は３人も新しい赤ちゃんに会いました...セフィちゃんとノリコママ、エリックくんとママ(名前忘れちゃいました...)、そしてミライちゃんとパパ(同じく名前忘れました...)エリック君(４才)意外は年が近くて一番年上？だったマディソンは結構動きっぱなしだったけどこの部屋は危ない物が置いてないから安心して少し好きに動かせてあげる事が出来ました。
Yesterday was another playgroup day... and Daddy got to go with us...! We were fashionably late as usual plus Madison fell asleep on the way so we were trying to let her keep asleep on the floor but she woke up so we un-pouched her and pushed her(really sleepy looking still) into the group:-) There were three new faces today... Sephi-chan and her mom Noriko-san and Eric-kun and her mom(can't remember her name...) and Mirai-chan and her dad(again can't remember...)... Besides Eric all the babies are pretty similar in age and Madison was one of the few mobile ones there so we had to chase her around a bit but it was nice that even if we didn't always watch her closely there wasn't much she can get into trouble with...

Since Madison has been pushing her activity table to practice walking at home we were discussing about getting a toy with wheels that she can push better but for it to not take up too much space... This play room had a bike toy so we tried to see if Madison likes playing with it... Here is a video:-)

Snow Day Number Two!!/雪の日第二話

In 7 years NYC had two snow days...now in the span of three weeks we have had two snow days...yippee!! This storm turned out to be the 4th largest in NYC history dumping 21" in Central Park.
ニューヨークでは過去７年に雪で学校が閉鎖されたのは２回だけ...そして３週間前と今日の学校閉鎖と短い間にもう２日も学校休み!!そして今回の大雪は過去で４番目に大きい５３センチ。

Mommy, who self-disclosed she enjoys shoveling snow, went out to "have fun."
雪掻きが好きって自分から車をきれいにしに行ったママ。

After a little while, Madison and I joined her and we all had fun together on the little snow hill mommy made out of a snow mound. Smart daddy brought an empty laundry basket as her sled:-)
少し経った後マディソンと一緒に外に出て、ママが造ってくれた雪の丘を使ってそり滑りをすることに。ソリが無いから頭の良いパパはバスケット持参：）

Madison I think was more stunned by this new activity then anything else.
新しい経験に言葉も出ないマディソン。

ディズニーバケーションのおまけ/Some more from our Disney vacation...

ディズニーでマディソンに買ったおもちゃを見せるのを忘れてました...
So I forgot to show you Madison's new toys we got while we were at Disney...

フィグメントの乗り物に乗った後のお店でパパに一番最初に貰ったぬいぐるみのフィグメントを買わずに入られませんでした。これでパパとおそろい：）
1. After we went on Journey into Imagination with Figment we had to get him for Madison! He was Daddy's first stuffed toy:-)

初日から何か今回来た記念に成る物を探していたんだけどアプコットのお店に入った時にこのミニーのぬいぐるみを見つけて速攻購入...ちゃんとミニーの服に年が入っていてカワイイでしょ？
2. Since day one we were looking for a perfect thing that says we went to Disney in 2010 then when we were in Mouse Gear in Epcot we spotted this and had to buy... Minnie:-)

最後の日に一国一国訪ねている時に入ったロンドンのお店にこのミスリトルシリーズの本が...パパが好きで読んでいた本だからこのシリーズはパパに揃えてもらう事に...お金を払っている時にレジの横にリトルミスの８冊入りの特別な箱が！結局それも買ってパパは早速９冊もマディソンに買ってあげる事に...ママは何にしようかな〜？のんたんかな？

3. While visiting each country on our last day we found the Little Miss Book series in London and since Daddy really liked them growing up this series will be for him to collect for Madison. We only purchased one book at first, "Little Miss Stubborn," but then when we were checking out we saw this cool collection of 8 Little Miss stories so we decided to get a jump start by having 9 books:-)

ベビーセンターに行く度に棚に置いてある７人の小人が気に入って目に入っていたんだけど、きっとマディソン気に入るねーと買う事決定...最後の日にお店からじゃなくてベビーセンターからわざわざ買って来ました。
4. Everytime we were at the Baby Care Center in Epcot these cute dwarfs were looking at us from the shelf and we thought Madison would have a great time playing with them (and so would we) so on our last day we made the purchase... Not from the Mouse Gear gift shop, but from the shelf at the Baby Care Center since Dave thought if the BIG mouse knew that people were buying things from the center then he will be more likely to keep the center in the future... or something like that!

前のポストにも載っていた通りアニマルキングダムで買ったレパード柄のミッキーの耳...ママの方が嬉しい購入：）大丈夫ちゃんとマディソンと仲良く使うから！
5. As you've also seen we got leopard mouse ears in Animal Kingdom... I'm most excited about this purchase:-) Don't worry I'll share with Madison!

最後に帰り道に乗り換えをしたんだけどフィリーから乗ったのはこのちっぽけな飛行機...たったの３０分間だけと短い飛行時間だったけどその間今にも落ちそうな気がして緊張しまくり！もう２度とこんな小さい飛行機乗りたくな〜い!!
Lastly we forgot to show you how tiny our airplane was from Philly to NYC... Quick 30 minutes flight, but I was really nervous! Never taking such a tiny airplane again!!

昨日日本の家族から荷物が届きました！イエーイ！箱の中にはママの家族が東京ディズニーリゾートに行った時のおみやげ...ママのアイフォンには着ける所がないんだけどと〜ってもカワイミニーの携帯ストラップとか、マディソン用のアリエルとうさちゃんの髪留め、ダルマの格好したミッキーとミニーとティガーのお手玉...デイブが何で３っつ目はティガーなのって言うから何でかなーって考えてやっと気づいた！今年は寅年なんだー！デイブがジャグリング上手だからマディソン気に入りそう：）その他にも沢山欲しかったピアスとかヘアワックスとかマディソン用のおせんべい、こっちで売り切れて買えなかったひよこクラブ、ビーンズのお寿司のおもちゃとか良い物がいっぱい...ありがとね〜！
Yesterday, we got a box from my parents in Japan so I took a picture.. In it were some things my family got for Madison while visiting Tokyo Disney Resort. Although my Iphone does not have any place to attach this to I got a really cute Minnie cellphone strap... These squishy balls that Daddy can juggle with and Madison loves to watch... If you are keeping up with this blog I've mentioned in my Japanese New Year tradition blog about Daruma, Micky and Minnie are dressed as Darumas and the Tigger that's because it's the year of the Tiger!! (Dave kept wondering why the third guy is Tigger until I finally realized the reason) We also received a bunch of cute ear rings that I wanted, some snacks that Madison can eat and likes, a cute Ariel and bunny hair clips for Madison, hair wax for me, baby magazine that was sold out here, sushi for the beans, etc...

Disney World - Animal Kingdom/ディズニーワールド - アニマルキングダム編

Lastly we share with you Disney's newest park...Animal Kingdom...like Hollywood Studios we only spent a half a day here...
最後にディズニーの一番新しいパーク...アニマルキングダム...ハリウッドスタジオと同じように半日だけ使って行きました...

If you pay close attention you can spot bunch of animals playing hide and a seek...:-)
よく見るといろんな動物達が隠れてる...：）

It's so hard to take a nice family picture where all the family members are looking at the camera and smiling...
家族全員カメラ目線で笑顔の良い家族写真撮るのがこんなに難しいとは...

It was where Anna found her ears...
ここでアンナはミッキーの耳を見つけたんです...

And we went on an authentic African Safari that was pretty cool...
そしてトラックに乗って本格的にアフリカの探検...

And were able to ride Expedition Everest (which you can see in the distance) a roller coaster where a Yeti breaks your track and you travel backwards at a decently rapid pace.
新しく出来たエベレスト遠征(遠くに見える)と言う、イエティに途中で路線を壊されて後ろ向きに落ちるローラーコースターに乗る事が出来ました。

Disney World - Hollywood Studios/ディズニーワールド - ハリウッドスタジオ編

そして３っつ目のパークはMGM!またの名はハリウッドスタジオ。半日しかいなかったけど今度来た時はもうちょっと見て歩けると良いな〜...マディソンがアリエルのミュージカルを観れるようになれば良いな：）
And thirdly, MGM...now called Hollywood Studios. We only devoted half a day here... Next time we can spend a bit more time checking this place out... maybe Madison will be ready for Ariel's musical I wanted to see:-)

アプコットからMGMまで１マイルほど水辺を歩いて行けたんだけど今回はボートに乗って行く事に...今度来た時はこの辺にあるホテルに泊まれたら良いな〜。アプコットまですぐそこ！
Instead of walking a mile or so on a Boardwalk to MGM from Epcot we decided to take a boat... I would love to stay in one of the resorts here next time... Short walk to Epcot!

このコカコーラの瓶とポーズしているように見えるけど実はパンチしてるの...だってアンナ、ソーダ大嫌い！こっちの人達の砂糖のとり過ぎと肥満の原因！
You think I'm posing with the coke but I'm actually punching the coke because I absolutely HATE soda... It makes people addicted to sugar and be fat!

有名な映画“子供を小さくしちゃった”に兼ねて作られた公園、子供と親達で大賑わい...
We visited "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" Playground which was really crowded with kids and their parents...

このありさんに乗っているのがとっても気に入ちゃってびっくり！
We had no idea but she LOVED being on this ant!

She let me take such great pictures!!

Disney World - Epcot/ディズニーワールド - アプコット編

Next up...EPCOT!!!
次は...アプコット!!!

EPCOT also possessed our favorite baby center with a nice little play area for Madison...
アプコットにある赤ちゃんセンターが４つのパークの中で一番のお気に入り、マディソンがタッチの練習出来るプレイルームがあります...

As you can see she was happy to be there.
見ての通り嬉しそうでしょ。

EPCOT also had its share of fun rides...especially my favorite as a kid and now Madison's as well...Journey into Imagination with Figment!!! It is borderline amazing how much has stayed the same at Epcot in the fifteen years or so since my last visit...
アプコットにもたくさんの面白い乗り物が...僕が小さい頃に大好きだった乗り物はマディソンも気に入ったみたい...紫色の恐竜が案内役をしてくれるフィグメントと空想旅行(日本語で何て言うのかわからないよ〜)最後に来たのは１５年前もなのにあんまり変わってなくてびっくり...

When we got to China we were afraid we forgot to get a picture in Germany so we took a picture of me with my pretzel purchased in Germany...but then we remembered...
中国に着いた時にドイツの写真を撮り忘れたと思って慌てて僕が買って食べていたプレッチェルと一緒に写真をパシャ...でも思い出した...
our pickle tree picture...which is a tradition our family has adopted and apparently originated in Germany...

Norway...an hour later we would be on that Viking ship...by far Madison's most intense ride...
ノルウェー...１時間後にここでバイキングの船に乗って冒険...マディソンの乗った乗り物の中で一番危険だった...

And last but not least...especially with their cool boat ride inside this structure...Mexico.
そして最後に...メキシコ...中出ゆっくりの船に乗ってメキシコを探検。
