At the Klein's we started the Valentine's Day celebration the day before by Daddy watching Madison while Mommy went into the city for some shopping time... Well, I just bought some clothes for Madison, but it was really nice to be able to walk around by myself for a while:-) I finally got Madison a light weight spring jacket to take to Disney World, it was $40 and more than Daddy and I wanted to spend, but this jacket has a detachable quilt layer inside so she can start to wear it right now and once the weather gets warmer the inside layer can come out and become a light spring jacket to wear over a tee... It's Army Green color so I'm pretty sure it will go with anything she wears... Smart me!

あ〜！食べ過ぎちゃった！
After dinner, I made Molten Chocolate Cake with Dulce de Leche sauce and Ice Cream for my hubby... Oh how yummy it was!
バレンタイン本番の次の日(日曜日)、喉が痛いし嫌な予感と思って起きて来たらやっぱり！風邪になりかけてる！ちょっと頭も痛いし〜。今週ちょっと風邪気味だったパパからとうとう移っちゃったかな!?困った〜。せっかく教会に行くつもりで準備していたのに、他の人達に風邪移したくないからと中止して家族全員でお昼寝をして良くなる事を祈る事にしました。
We have a tradition in the Klein household...when we go on vacation, or are about to go on vacation, we get sick...actually Anna gets sick...it happened on our Honeymoon...it happened when we went to the Dominican Republic and now it is happening again...with a little assist from me...We decided not to get each other anything for this Valentine's Day because of our trip to Disney World, but I am such a giver I decided to pass on the cold that I had been fighting since last Monday... so this morning we both tried to ignore our symptoms and got ready for Church, but at the last second we thought clearly that it's better to stay at home and rest and not spread our cold germs to people at Church. I am hoping the fact that I am getting worse does not indicate what is to come for Anna (and especially Madison) and we are both looking forward to some warmer weather to help kick this thing as well!!
今朝、バレンタインのお祝いをパパにあげたかったのかぐっすり寝ているパパの鼻の上にボーリングサイズの頭を落として来たマディソン...結果は？もちろん鼻血！鼻折れなくて良かった〜。マディソンの頭結構重いんだよね：）
Madison also got into the unorthodox gift giving mood as she gave me a bloody nose to start the morning when her bowling ball sized head came crashing down on me as we woke up this morning...I feel fortunate she didn't break it as 15 pounds of her 18 pound body must be contained in that noggin of hers!
たった今、エリーとココを１週間見てくれる人の家に置いて来ました...いつも家に帰って鍵を開けている時に吠えまくる２匹の声が聞こえなくて予想した以 上に悲しくなりました。夕食の途中にフォークを落としたんだけど慌てて拾う理由がなかったから置きっ放しに...良い子にしているかな!?今夜はマディソ ン一人が騒音を立ててるクライン家：）
We also just came back from dropping the Beans off at their boarding place for the week...Anna can't believe that she was actually sad to not hear their annoying bark she gets every time we come home and are trying to unlock the door. During dinner Anna dropped her fork on the ground and she didn't even bother to pick it up...it was very sad...only one baby making all the noise tonight:-)
So sorry to hear about the colds. Seems like a Klein tradition not only with your family--but also with the other Kleins---sickness has occurred on a number of our Christmas Mystery Trips. Maybe Santa needs to put Airborne in the stockings.I'm sure the warm weather will help you feel better.Have a Great time!
ReplyDeleteI've had great success with zinc tablets and cold-eez helping me shorten my colds. If you don't have a homeopathic remedy of choice, I recommend those.
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how many nose bleeds Lily has given me in her two short years. In all fairness, I get a nosebleed if I sneeze half the time, but she's given me her fair share as well. It's a parental rite of passage.
