The Visit Part 2/アイダホの家族を訪れるパート２

Now that we've got your attention...let me tell you about the second part of our visit with Jim and Alyson...mind you we only stayed Wednesday to Sunday, but what a jam-packed 4 days...
この写真で読者の皆様の気を引いた所でジムとアリソンの家にいた４日間の最後の２日の話をどうぞ...

So Aunt Alyson was a big proponent of airing out a diaper rash and Madison had a bad one, so air out we did and you know what I am happy to report the rash is all cleared up...thanks Aunt Alyson...and Oronine the magic Japanese ointment :-)
アリソンおばちゃんはお尻のかぶれには空気乾燥が一番と、コネチカットからの４０時間のドライブ中にひどいかぶれが出来てしまったマディソンのおしりを裏庭で乾燥中...ありがとう、アLリソンおばちゃんとオロナイン：）

Another adventure Jim and Alyson took us on was the Mudgy and Millie trail...a romp through Coeur D'Alene that follows the travels of a moose and a mouse as told by some lady in a book...there are 5 statues in all...Anna counts them for you...
最後の日はこの地域で有名なマッジーとミリーの話を辿って近所に散らばってあるマッジーとミリーの５つの石像を見つける事に...アンナがちゃんと数えているよ...

And a feast at one of the restaurants right across from Couer D'Alene Lake
そして、コードアリーン湖の目の前にあるレストランで豪華な夕ご飯を食べました

They had a Koi Pond with turtles running through the restaurant...

Jim and Lily look great, but the star of the show is that sippy cup...it has a bendable straw and was the coolest cup ever...at the restaurant across the street where we went for desert (not sure where those pictures are) we got like five of them...

ジム伯父さんといとこリリーは良い顔しているけどこの写真の目玉はこのカップ...ストローがクネクネ曲がってロケットみたいな形がすごいかわいい！ご飯の後デザートを食べに行ったレストランでも違う柄の同じカップがあったからお土産に５つ貰っちゃいました...

Anna and Alyson were quite into the matching so they found these wicked cute Polo ball-girl outfits at TJ Maxx for the amazing price of $2 each!!
アンナとアリソンはお揃いの洋服にハマっていたらしくTJ Maxxというお店で、１着２ドルのこのポロワンピを購入!!

And another set of jammies...
そしてお揃いのパジャマをもう一着...

Our last night we had double desert of smores and yummy homemade strawberry shortcake!!
最後の日はデザートにアリソンの手作りのストロベリーショートケーキとスモア!!

And James even busted out the 8 year old sparklers and poppers...we felt very honored...and both still worked!!
そして、８年前に買ったと言われる花火...まだちゃんと使えてビックリ!!

Finally it was time for a bed time story...this is a great book we stole from Grandma and Grandpa's house...thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
そして花火の後はベッドタイムストーリー...この本凄い良い話なんだよね...コネチのおじいちゃんとおばあちゃんの家から勝手に持って来ちゃったんだけど...ありがとうおじいちゃんとおばあちゃん!

And finally...I am sad to report that the last thing that happened...about an hour before we left was that Madison got her first Wasp sting...she actually got THREE of them...saddest thing ever...Anna actually got stung by the sucker one time too...I had no idea one Wasp could do so much damage...well Madison was a real trooper and Aunt Alyson was quick with the topical Benadryl so except for the three red dots, I think Madison is okay (and Mommy too) and now we know she isn't allergic...hooray!!
そして最後に...ジムとアリソンの家を出発する１時間前に起こった悲惨な出来事が...マディソンがスズメバチに刺されてしまいました...しかも３カ所も...本当に悲惨な...マディソンを助けに行ったアンナも一カ所刺されたんだけど、そんなに何回も刺せるなんて知らなかった...家にあった虫さされ用の薬を塗って２人ともとりあえずは大丈夫みたい...マディソンにアレルギー反応が出なくて良かったー!!

So that was our trip to Jim and Alyson's in a nutshell...after this trip we hopped in the car Sunday afternoon and started our 23 hour journey to 1900 E. Ocean Blvd and Long Beach, California our new home...but that is a story for another post!!
これでジムとアリソンの所での報告はお終い...この後また家族３人と２匹車に乗り込んで２３時間のドライブの後カリフォルニアの新しい新居に行ったんだけど、その話はこの次で読んでね!!
