Madison meets her Church family!/マディソン教会へ行く

After nine long weeks away, today Madison finally met her Church family and do they ever know how to give a welcome!! They threw her a wonderful reception to welcome her to the family and Mommy and Daddy could not be more appreciative. The Springfield Gardens Church of Christ is an incredible group of people who love the Lord and resonate that love in everything they do!! Madison had a great time meeting her Church family and repeatedly made her best eye contact with the camera which I think means she was having a good time :-)
マディソンが生まれて９週間後、やっと教会の家族に紹介する事ができました。大きなパーティーを開いてくれるととっても親切！今まで以上にマディソンはカメラ目線バッチリ：）いっぱいプレセントをもらったからとてもご機嫌！

A snapshot of the gifts...such a generous group!! I think Madison can now where an outfit a day for the rest of the year...that should help on our laundry bill :-)

The first beautiful handmade gift we received...a blanket from Natasha in a perfectly purple shade...not pictured a little girl two little duckies...soooo cute!!

The second beautiful handmade gift was this ceramic basket that Sister Katie made in her ceramics class...incredible!!

And a third incredibly thoughtful, handmade item were these giant cupcakes also made by Natasha...they looked awesome and we got to take most of them home...YUM!!

Madison with his wife Faye, or Aunt Faye to Madison. Aunt Faye had been so supportive and helpful throughout Anna's pregnancy, so much so that she was about the only person I knew who had belly touching privileges while Anna was pregnant. Faye couldn't wait to get her hands on Madison and wouldn't give her up either :-)

A family picture of us...we are realizing these are tough to come by because we so often take pictures of each other, but don't ask someone to take one of the three of us, so we made sure to get one today!
