HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!! Last year at this time we had been parents for just over a week...what a difference a year makes...Madison and I beat Mommy out of bed so I was able to get her into her new Celtics jersey...she looks soooo cute!!
母の日おめでとう!!去年の母の日は、ママになってたった１っ週間しか経ってない慌ただしい時...１年間でこんなに変わるなんて...ママより先に起きたマディソンと僕はマディソンの新しいセルティックスのジャージーを着せて準備する事が出来ました...と〜ってもカワイーイ!!

We then gave Mommy the rest of her gifts for being such a great Mom...1st running pants and socks that Mommy picked out yesterday...
ママに残りのプレゼントを開けてもらいました...
まず最初に昨日ママが選んだマラソン用のタイツとずり落ちない靴下...
2nd was a gift from Me...そして次は僕からのプレゼント...
Lastly, a gift from Madison...it is a set of five canisters for Madison to put her hand print into the first five years of her life...I "secretly" did year 1 with Madison last night...I guess I thought Madison would just put her hand in there and keep it steady and not just try to grab the plaster of paris while it was still soft, but boy was I wrong...I look forward to a much easier year next year, but I don't think it came out that bad...she just wasn't very happy with me once we were finally done...in fact I had to use year two's plaster of paris for our second try.

マディソンの最初の５年間の手形が作れる物なんです...昨日ママの隙を見つけてマディソンと作ったんだけど、ただ手を入れて何もしないと思っていたら大間違い...手を入れるなりグチャグチャしたいし思ったより難しく結局一回やり直して来年用の粘土を使うはめに。
So that concludes Mother's Day for the most part...we went to church...Mommy get a little nap in and we made Chicken Pot Pie for dinner together...it was a nice day.これでだいたい母の日は終わり...教会から帰って来た後ママは少しお昼寝をして家族みんなでチキンポットパイを夕ご飯に作りました...良い日にでした。
Now we have some bonus pics from the last couple of days...first the incredible t-shirt that Anna has made Madison for next weekend's Cystic Fibrosis walk in Worcester, MA.
さて、ここからはボーナス...来週参加するシスティックファブローシスの行事用にマディソンに作ったTシャツ。
Second, we have Madison and I lounging at McCarren Park during one of my school's recent baseball games...they won and are now 11-0! Some of my co-workers enjoyed Madison as well.
そして、先週パパの学校の野球試合を見に行った時に撮ったパパとマディソンのリラックスショット...１１試合全部勝利の絶好調のシーズン。
Lastly, Madison tried out her new "big girl" front-facing car seat in the house before we put it in the car yesterday...at first it appears she doesn't know what to think...そして最後に、マディソンの新しいカーシートを車に取り付ける前に家で練習してる様子...最初は少し不安みたい...
but she warmed up quickly.でも、すぐに嬉しそうになった。

I like the charm! That's really cute. If you get one for all you're kids you'll have to think about their initials and make sure it doesn't spell anything weird... like MUD.
ReplyDeleteWhat are the laws in NY about forward facing car seats? I think in Idaho you have to be 1 year AND 20lbs. But we didn't know that and put Lily in when she was 20lbs and not 1 year. Oops.

Madison's new car seat said that for front facing the baby needs to be at least 20lbs so we waited until we had her 1 year check up to find out her weight... It was 21lbs! I think she likes it... She looks really tiny in it though... and yes, we will make sure the initials don't end up anything dirty:-) MP works, right?

Love the Celtics shirt. She must have been wearing it last night and brought them luck, when they beat up on Cleveland. She'll sure look cute on Saturday in her Cure CF shirt. Nice job, Anna. We have about 75 walking for the Tiger Team. Madison may be the youngest.
