Daytripper/日帰り旅行

Let the Day Trips begin!! Day trip number one took us to Coney Island and the New York Aquarium via NYC's fine public transportation system...it took us about an hour by subway to reach the bottom of Brooklyn where Coney Island resides.
日帰り旅行の始まり!!まず最初の行き場所は地下鉄に乗ってコニーアイランドとニューヨーク水族館...ブルックリンの下にあるコニーアイランドに着くまで１時間近くかかったよ。

This picture was actually taken on the ride home and yes Madison is as tired as she looks :-)
この写真は実は帰りに撮ったの、マディソンが疲れてます：）

Upon entering the park we saw a Sea Otter doing the backstroke...
水族館に入るなりラッコの背泳ぎ...
Then you go underground and can see the sea creatures underwater as they swim around...
そして地下に降りて水中で泳いでいる動物達をを見に...

Here Madison and I are posing with a harbor seal swimming by.

In another tank a sea turtle and shark blissfully co-exist.
違うタンクで亀とサメが一緒に水泳中。

And here Madison and I are looking at her favorite exhibit (based on the fact that she focused on it for 30 seconds which outlasted any other exhibit :-)

After the aquarium we headed onto the boardwalk of Coney Island and enjoyed the sunshine for a few minutes...before heading back to the air conditioned cafe at the aquarium for lunch.
水族館の後お昼を食べる前にコニーアイランドの海辺を歩く事に。

Now that we no longer have a pic of the day (because Anna is done working) we will try to have a bonus pic of the day...something silly that doesn't necessarily flow with the rest of the day, but is fun nonetheless...tonight we showcase Anna having fun with Photoshop as she grants Madison's Aunt's wish to showcase her daughter Lily eating the rest of her cousins...we don't ask questions...we just grant wishes...enjoy!!
