A New Chapter/新しい第一章

Now that it is official we can finally share the news with all of our devoted blog readers, that Thursday was Anna's official last day at DKNY Jeans after 4 1/2 wonderful years of hard work!! She may be able to continue freelancing for the company on occasion and will probably look for other opportunities as well, but is officially a stay at home Mother as of August 7th, 2009. Below Madison is passing the time anxiously waiting for her Mommy to come home one last time!!
今日ここでやっと報告する事があります。木曜日は杏奈の仕事の最後の日でした。DKNY Jeansで４年半の楽しく充実した仕事！たまにフリーランスをするかもしれないけれど８月７日付けでマディソンと家にいる事に！下はマディソンがママの帰りを待ちどうしくしながらお昼寝をしている所...

Anna stopping work now allows us to have one month together before I go back to work, so we will be traveling around the great state of New York and putting our State Parks and Zoo passes to good use...so the blog is about to get very exciting :-)
アンナの仕事が終わったという事は８月中家族３人と２匹で毎日過ごせるという事、ニューヨーク州内の私立公園や動物園と行く所やする事はいっぱい!　ブログをお楽しみに！

This weekend we are up at the Grandparents place in Connecticut celebrating my nephew's 8th birthday! Anna, who enjoys any opportunity to work on her new hobby, made the cake for Carter...
今週末はカーターの８歳の誕生日をお祝いする為にコネチカットへ!　ケーキ作りはアンナの新しい趣味！カーターに誕生日ケーキを作りました...

He requested chocolate on chocolate...we are about to see how yummy it is later tonight.
カーターの希望はチョコレートとチョコレート...味はどうかな？早速今夜試します：）

Also before we left for our trip, Coco helped herself to Madison's carseat...luckily for Coco's sake she had just had a bath and Anna found this cute instead of incredibly germ filled...
ニューヨークの家を出る前に発見したのはココがマディソンのカーシートに丸まってお昼寝してる所...可愛いけどバイキンとかやだからお風呂入れといてよかったー！

Grandma was back from her visit out West and took some time to rest from her cooking to sit with Madison and stare at the fan in the sunroom...what is it about Grandma's and fans :-)
リリーに会いに行っていたリンダお婆ちゃんご飯作りの合間にマディソンと一休み...

Anna, Madison and I also found time to go fruit picking with Madison's Aunt and Uncle and Cousins. Here Robert, Holly and Carter load up their boxes with delicious blueberries...
マディソンのおじさん、おばさん、いとこ達とブルーベリーを摘みに...

While Grant just loads up himself!!
グラントは食べるのに夢中！

I inspected the peaches that weren't quite ready yet...
ピーチを調べてみたけどちょっとまだみたい...

While Anna meticulously picked the finest blueberries as only she can...
アンナはいつも通り完璧なブルーベリーだけを摘んでる...

And Madison slept...as only she can :-)
もちろんマディソンはいつも通りお昼寝中：）

Then when we got back to Gma and Gpa's it was time for another nap...
お婆ちゃんとお爺ちゃんの家に帰ってまたお昼ね...

The Beans rested as well!!
ビーンズ達もお昼ね!!
